1. Software Description

KaraQueue is a local WiFi KTV song request system that plays videos using YouTube's official IFrame Player API, with all videos streamed directly from YouTube's CDN. This software does not download, store, cache, copy, or forward any video content to any third party.

2. YouTube Terms of Service Compliance

This software exclusively uses YouTube's official IFrame Player API. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of any YouTube video played through this system complies with YouTube's Terms of Service and related platform policies.

3. Copyright Statement

This software does not hold any copyright to any video content. All YouTube videos played through KaraQueue are owned by their respective creators and/or rights holders. This software makes no claims over any video content and grants no copyright licenses.

4. Public Performance and Commercial Venue Warning

Users in the Hong Kong SAR should note:

• Playing copyrighted musical works in public or commercial venues may require a public performance license from CASH (Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong).
• Certain performance content may require additional licenses from HKGO (Hong Kong General Performing Rights Association) or other relevant organizations.
• Users are solely responsible for consulting with and applying to relevant copyright organizations for necessary permits. The Company provides no legal advice regarding licensing matters and assumes no responsibility for any legal liability arising from unauthorized use of copyrighted works.

Users in other regions must understand and comply with all applicable local laws and regulations, including but not limited to copyright law, performance rights law, and related intellectual property regulations, before using this software.

5. No Warranty (Provided "As Is")

This software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Company expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company does not warrant that:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Milestone Technology, its directors, employees, contributors, and affiliates expressly exclude all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• The use of or inability to use this software;
• Any video content played through this software;
• Any losses arising from copyright infringement, intellectual property infringement, or other legal disputes;
• Any consequences arising from a user's violation of this Disclaimer or applicable laws;
• Any claims or actions by third parties regarding this software.

These exclusions apply even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such losses.

7. User Responsibility

By using this software, you confirm and agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with:

• All applicable laws, regulations, and rules in your jurisdiction;
• YouTube's Terms of Service and all related platform policies;
• Any applicable copyright law and performance rights regulations.

You agree to use this software only for lawful purposes and assume all risks associated with its use.

8. No Affiliation with YouTube / Google

KaraQueue is an independent open-source software project with no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement relationship with YouTube, LLC, Google LLC, or any of their affiliates. YouTube and Google names, trademarks, and related intellectual property are the property of their respective owners. YouTube reserves the right to regulate and restrict the use of the IFrame Player API in accordance with its Terms of Service and Developer Policies.

9. Governing Law

This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from this software or this Disclaimer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong SAR.

10. Severability

If any provision of this Disclaimer is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
